So, the hubster and I did something really, really big. We left Skyy with her auntie and had an amazing date day in Plano, TX. It may not seem like a big deal, but this was our first date day since we became parents.

We did it! We just got back from our first family vacation as a family of three. So, the hubster and I did a really big thing. We packed up our car and took our first family road trip to San Antonio, Texas. Although we’ve visited San Antonio before, this trip was different. On past trips, I’ve only had the opportunity to see San Antonio through the River Walk. However, on this trip we explored so much of the area. After a few weeks of jet-setting to some U.S. cities, I was extremely excited to have a staycation at the Tru by Hilton in Garland, Texas. If you haven’t heard of this vibrant, affordable, and unique hotel chain then you should totally add it to your hotel bucket list.

Nothing makes me happier than being able to knock a restaurant off of my foodie bucket list, especially when the restaurant is in another city. As soon as plans for Comp Camp Houston were finalized, I knew that there was no way I could leave  without making a visit to Peli Peli Kitchen or Peli Peli.

I love staying at all-inclusive properties. All-inclusive resorts provide the luxury of giving you a worry-free vacation. After spending a few nights in Cabo, we decided to end our lovely vacation with a stay at the Paradisus Los Cabos. 

I love being out on the water. Seriously, there's nothing more peaceful to me then hearing the crash of ocean waves and the melodic sounds of the ocean. I've always wanted to do a sunset cruise, and the perfect opportunity presented itself during my trip to Cabo. 

Isn’t it amazing how much time flies when you’re on vacation? I felt like time flew from the moment we arrived at the Hilton Los Cabos.

I love visiting San Antonio. Aside from sightseeing and enjoying the Riverwalk, I love the variety of great restaurants the city offers. Before heading off for a visit, a friend recommended that I try  Boudro's Texas Bistro. My hubby and I visited for an afternoon lunch.
