Before getting to deep into my third trimester, the hubster and I thought it would be nice to take one last trip together before Skyy’s arrival. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful, resort within the state of Texas then this post is for you!

We’ve visited lots of resorts during our travel but the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is one of our new favorites. The resort is quiet, the grounds are gorgeous, and the resort is nestled within the hills of Austin. It didn’t even feel like we were in Texas!

Accommodations

Our guest room was amazing. We stayed in the newly renovated resort tower and our room was so comfortable! Plus, the views of Texas Hill Country were incredible.

My favorite thing about the room was enjoying breakfast in bed. One of the biggest things on my pregnancy to-do-list was to enjoy a relaxing morning with room service and the resort made it happen! The room service at this resort is delicious and service is extremely prompt.

Dining

The resort has seven signature restaurants onsite so you don’t have to leave the property. We didn’t get to try them all, but we opted for a casual dinner at Nopales. We ordered cheeseburgers and they were out of this world!

Pools

I can’t say enough great things about the resort’s pool area. The pools are phenomenal and the view from the infinity pool is incredible. It was so nice to unwind and enjoying a chill day in one of the resort’s cabanas. I highly recommend reserving one for an uber relaxing experience.

I know I’ve said it before, but I have to say it again. The food at this resort is AMAZING. The poolside menu has plenty of options and the hubster and I loved both of our lunch items.

The property is incredibly serene and there are also lots of great spots to sit back and enjoy the Texas Hill Country views!

Mokara Spa

A visit to the spa is a must for any babymoon! I had an incredible afternoon at the resort’s Mokara Spa. If you don’t have time to book a treatment, you can purchase a day pass to enjoy the facilities for the day. Since I was pregnant, I couldn’t enjoy all the amentities but I’ll be sure to during my next visit. I enjoyed a prenatal massage and it was the best massage ever! I highly recommend Sarah G!

We had a great time at this resort and seriously can’t wait to go back. We’re thinking about making this our annual trip and even bringing Skyy on our next visit. Wanna seem some footage of our trip. Check out or vlog below!

Disclosure: Special thanks to the Omni Barton Creek Resort for hosting my stay!
