A Review of the Best All-Inclusive in Cancun Excellence Playa Mujeres: Part Two

The saga continues! My experience at Excellence Playa Mujeres was so wonderful that I couldn't fit it all into one post! I'm going to discuss two additional areas of Excellence Playa Mujeres that were phenomenal. For details on part one of this vacation go here

Pool and Beach Chairs

At many resorts finding pool and beach chairs can be a problem. The resort has a plethora of pools. I had my daily choice of what pool I wanted to frequent, not including the rooftop pool on my terrace. There were so many pools at the resort that my friends and I chose a different pool to visit every day. We never had a problem finding beach or pool chairs. We were even able to snag a cabana on some days. I found that if a spot we wanted wasn't available immediately, that it would normally open up in the afternoon. I also loved how we were able to order poolside snacks and drinks. Servers would constantly come around to take our food and beverage orders. The lazy river and hammocks situated at the pools were another highlight. There were plenty of lounge areas located throughout the resort. Excellence Playa Mujeres definitely supported my habit of afternoon napping. I also found an abundant amount of loungers located on Excellence's pristine beach.

Activities

Excellence Playa Mujeres gives you the perfect mix of activities without being intrusive. During the day, there are plenty of activities to enjoy if you choose to. Afternoons at the main pool would feature a live band which was pretty cool. There were also different daily activities such as fitness classes, tournaments, volleyball, and ping pong that you could enjoy. I also loved the theme nights and nightly entertainment. The Michael Jackson tribute show was definitely one of my favorites. The evening shows were nice to look forward to after a hearty dinner. A few members of my group decided to sign up for the Bike Tour and it was so much fun! Shout out to Rafael on the entertainment team for being a fantastic guide.

I cannot wait for my next visit to return "home." Special thanks to Carolina Paz, Vilma, Erick Sanchez, Nelson in Basmati, Angel in Toscana, and the entire Excellence Playa Mujeres staff for making my stay so special. I am already planning a second visit to Excellence Playa Mujeres and am looking forward to visiting the new Excellence El Carmen later this Fall.
