Relaxing with Carise's Joy Body Care

I'm slowly starting to become a body care product junkie and I'm blaming it on my self care routine. One of my goals for 2018 is to have some sort of "me-time" during the week. I've found that treating myself to fantastic body care products is the perfect way to unwind after a long day. 

I was so excited when Candace from Carise's Joy provided me with the opportunity to review her products. Carise's Joy specializes in handcrafted body care products that are made with love and care.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this scrub is amazing. As soon as I opened the jar, I was hit with a delightful citrus scent. The scent was so strong that I had to double check the jar to make sure a lemon or orange wasn't inside! I couldn't stop sniffing it! The fragrance is extremely refreshing and crisp.

If you're looking for a great scrub then this one works wonders. I've used it several times and I was extremely happy with the results. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way so you don't have to use a ton to get the intended results.

Body Butter Perfection

This body butter is the truth. I tend to have very dry skin especially in the colder months and my skin felt so hydrated and moisturized after using it. Unlike some body butters, I like how the consistency wasn't too thick and was easy to apply. It penetrates very well and my skin felt moisturized throughout the day. I applied it after using the citrus scrub and my hands were so soft and smooth. 

Overall Thoughts

I'm extremely impressed with both of the Carise's Joy products that I tried. The only issue that I've had is that I can't get my husband to stop using them! I usually try to buy him his own inexpensive body care products (so I can keep the good stuff to myself) but he will not stop using my body butter. I guess I need to do a better job of hiding it. I know this sounds selfish but these products are just way too good to share! Here's two tips to keep in mind when using your products. 

1. A Little Goes a Long Way. Both products absorb well so you'll get tons of use out of the 8oz products.

2. Try Different Scents. Carise's Joy offers a variety of scents and even has unscented varieties. At times, I'm sensitive to strong fragrances but I had no issue with these products.
