This quote is 100% accurate in describing how I feel right now. I'm fully aware that I've been absent and inconsistent on my blog and social media. Don't worry, I'm OK, and yes this break was planned. Well sorta kinda.
May was a disaster. My husband and I spent what felt like the entire month moving out of our apartment. It was a slow and dreadful move. During this time, life threw us a curve ball, when I was involved in a car accident that left me with a totaled car. Needless to say, May was filled with many tears. I'm done crying, June is here, and better things are on the horizon.
The moment we've been dreaming about for months is almost here. Over the last few months we made many sacrifices in order to accomplish our goal of home ownership and its about to become a reality. I feel excited yet overwhelmed. Yesterday, we had our initial walk through, the closing date is confirmed, and I'm ready to get the keys. (Cue up the DJ Khaled!)
We are busy putting final touches on plans to make some awesome changes to our home. I've been spending my days picking out furniture, paint colors, and everything new house related. Right now, I just want to enjoy the process without worrying about publishing blog posts or social media content. I want to live in this special moment. I'm not saying that I'm not going to blog in the interim, but it isn't a priority.
Don't worry, once I have my office set up to my liking I will be blogging like crazy and will be sure to post pics of our new place. I plan on documenting the journey from start to finish. Thank you to everyone that's sent DM's, texts, or called to check on me I appreciate you!
