Tai Pei entrees are a new dinner staple in my home. My husband and I love eating Asian food and Tai Pei makes it so easy. You simply pull one of their delicious single serve entrees from the freezer, microwave, and voila! Dinner is served! The packaging is convenient, simple, and the heating instructions are easy to follow.
Nothing makes me happier than being able to knock a restaurant off of my foodie bucket list, especially when the restaurant is in another city. As soon as plans for Comp Camp Houston were finalized, I knew that there was no way I could leave without making a visit to Peli Peli Kitchen or Peli Peli.
I love visiting San Antonio. Aside from sightseeing and enjoying the Riverwalk, I love the variety of great restaurants the city offers. Before heading off for a visit, a friend recommended that I try Boudro's Texas Bistro. My hubby and I visited for an afternoon lunch.
As soon as I heard about Red Lobster Crabfest, I scheduled a visit. CrabFest is the ultimate celebration of everything crab and is back at Red Lobster for a limited-time! During CrabFest, you can enjoy classic Red Lobster classic crab entrees. They even have five brand new entrees available for guests this year. Entrees on the CrabFest menu include:
I am so excited about Your Pie Pizza in Frisco, Texas! This restaurant is right in my neighborhood and I plan on visiting often. If you're in the mood for quick, delicious, pizza then keep on reading!
'I have a new favorite restaurant in Dallas. Before I go into detail, I must remind you that 'favorite' is not a word I use frequently. However, Tricky-Fish is a restaurant that I just can't get enough of. I'm constantly looking for excuses to drive over to City-Line DFW or schedule lunch dates at the restaurant just so I can get my fix.
During my weekend trip to Austin, I wanted to take a stab at exploring the Austin food truck scene. Instead of relying on recommendations, I took matters into my own hands and booked the Best of Austin Food Trucks Tour with Austin Eats Food Tours. The tour promised to take us around to some of Austin's best food truck stops while riding around in an executive bus. I had never been on a food tour, so I was extremely intrigued with the concept.
Oklahoma City probably isn't the first city that comes to mind when you think of seafood. The Drake has completely changed my perception.
There are many things I love in life, and brunch is one of them. I love eating brunch on the weekends but especially when I travel. During my stay at the 21C Museum Hotel in OKC, I visited Mary Eddy's Kitchen + Lounge before heading back home. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, this restaurant is a must-visit for so many reasons. The number one reason why is in this picture below.
I love a great Southern meal. During my visit to Oklahoma City, I heard about Cheever's Cafe. Cheever's is well-known for their sophisticated Southern favorites and their popular Chicken Fried Steak. My husband and I chose to visit the restaurant for a late Saturday afternoon brunch.
Over the weekend, my hubby and I headed up to Oklahoma City to check out the local food scene. Before I head out on trips, I do research to see what the popular dining spots are. When I found out that Waffle Champion was known for their waffle sandwiches, I knew I had to visit. Seriously, take a second to wrap your brain around the concept of a waffle sandwich. It's mind boggling! Waffle Champion is the undisputed waffle champ of OKC. There's usually a line but the wait is well worth it.
Phoenix, Arizona a.k.a "The Valley of the Sun" is known for a lot more than just sunny skies. It's a great place to relax, sight-see, and get some good eats! Check out my recommendations below of 3 affordable and fantastic restaurants you need to visit during your next visit.
I've been struggling to capture the right words to explain my dining experience at Willie Mae's. There's a reason why notable individuals such as Anthony Bourdain and President Barack Obama have visited this iconic restaurant on Saint Ann.
Brunch is serious business. Before the weekend even hits, I'm already thinking about where I'm going to eat brunch. I recently visited Hash House A Go Go's Plano location and was not disappointed. If you're serious about breakfast or brunch then you must add this restaurant to your list.
You can't visit New Orleans without trying some of the local favorites! Gumbo was one of the main items on my New Orleans culinary to-do list. I was super excited when a fellow Blogger recommended that I visit the Gumbo Shop. Thanks @jessietaylortravels!
I've had enough of this brutal Summer heat. I'm at a point where bottled water no longer tastes refreshing but feels like a necessity in order to survive. The heat has put me on a quest to find beverages that not only quench my thirst but taste satisfying as they go down. My quest has led me to a winner...Magic Cup Cafe in Richardson, Texas.
Get ready Dallas...Loco is coming! That's right the nation's leading fire-grilled chicken restaurant chain plans to open a total of 20-30 restaurants in the DFW market by the end of 2019. The first two locations will open in early September.
I had the pleasure of sampling items from the new DFW Tasting Menu in honor of El Pollo Loco's DFW expansion. I am incredibly excited about their multitude of tasty menu offerings. Here's a rundown of what you can expect.
Very rarely will I visit a restaurant twice in one week. In order for me to do so, the food has to be amazing. Recently, I attended a media dinner for Street's Fine Chicken. I was in awe over the dishes that I tried. I returned home with a to-go container filled with leftovers for my husband. He was also in awe and recommended that we visit the restaurant over the weekend. By the time Saturday rolled around we were both eager to visit Street's.
Last month, I needed to grab a bite to eat before my return trip home from Cancun, Mexico. My husband and I had a few hours before our outgoing flight and found many options in the Cancun International Airport.
Summer is finally here! I'm always down for finding tasty ways to beat the heat. Andy's Frozen Custard is definitely one of them.
Earlier this month, I flew into Boston to celebrate my college graduation. Attending my graduation was my main mission. However, I had a secondary mission in mind that was equally as important. It was a very simple mission, and one that I knew I would regret if I didn't complete it. At this point you're probably thinking that I should just get to the point and explain what the mission was.
I write this review with an incredibly guilty conscience. For the past 4 days I've been on a mission to bring sexy back. I will be going on vacation in less than 14 days and have embarked on a 10 day cleanse. I've been eating clean and working out super hard. Unfortunately, I gave into my foodie desires at a media dinner for the opening of Dugg Burger's new Plano location. Shame on me right? I did take a super long run afterwards in an effort to justify my bad behavior.
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending Hutchins BBQ James Beard Dinner. Hutchins BBQ is heading to New York next month to cook at the James Beard House, which is kinda like a big deal! Luckily for me, Hutchins BBQ decided to give Dallas locals a chance to try the menu before it goes on the road.
