I love visiting Austin, Texas. There's so much to see and do between the incredible culinary, nature, and music scene. There are plenty of hotels to choose in the Downtown corridor. During my recent visit, I wanted to have a tranquil, yet fun stay that wasn't too far from the action in Austin.

Read MoreThe hotel is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute UBER ride away from Venice Beach. Plus, the hotel is a quick 15 minute drive from LAX. The walk from the beach isn't bad at all, and can be done in 15 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Abbott Kinney Blvd is also a short walk from the hotel.
